Who am I?

Hi, my name is Natalie and I take pictures.  :)  Seriously, my story is not crazy or unique.  Like a lot of photographers, I started taking pictures with toy cameras and have just worked my way up.  I've been a photographer "for real" for about 12 years now and I have learned and grown along the way.  I've taken a few classes here and there, but I have mostly learned by seeing and doing.  I live in Locust Grove, Georgia with my husband, 3-yr-old son, and a baby girl.   

What do I do?

I specialize in natural light photography (a great buzz phrase in this industry that basically means I prefer to not use a flash or huge lights).  Other than that, I can't really say that I "specialize" because I enjoy a variety of work including everything from maternity sessions to weddings and just about anything in between.

Where do I do it?

The answer to that is up to you!  I will travel to your home or a location that you choose...or I can suggest a few places that might fit what you're looking for.  I'll go wherever we need to, but I reserve the right to charge a travelling fee for locations outside of Henry county, if necessary.

How much does it cost?

Beginning in January of 2009, I am only offering one session option.  Why?  I found that the majority of my clients prefer to have the copyrights to their pictures, and with the convenience of online print ordering sites (like Flickr, Snapfish, Shutterfly, Sams.com, etc.), it keeps costs down for you and for me.  

      Your photography investment (now $200.00) will include:

• Your session (at a location of your choice)
• Digital editing (retouching and enhancements) of all final images
• Upload to a picture-sharing website of your choice (mentioned above)
• A high-resolution, copyright-free, CD of all edited images (usually 20-30 from most sessions)
• A spiral-bound 'brag book' so that you have prints right away to share with friends and family
• Assistance in ordering professionally printed large-format prints, gallery wraps, cards, etc., if requested

What happens next?

After your session, I will take about two weeks to edit, personalize and 'beautify' your pictures.  During that time, I will make every attempt to blog a few sneak peek images for you.  When the pictures are finished, I will upload them to the website that you have chosen (you will provide your log-in information for that purpose).  I will transfer the images to a CD and order your brag book.  When the brag book arrives (usually about 1 week), I will mail the CD, an instructional letter to help with printing, and brag book to your home.

You can order your pictures through the online site that you chose, or you can take the CD (and your copyright release letter) to a photo printer (WolfCamera, Target, Sams, etc.) and they will assist you in obtaining the prints that you want.

I am excited about being able to offer this package to you this year--it is a great opportunity for you to get the professional portraits that you want without having to spend so much on the actual prints.
