Bloopers

I've heard before "you make it look so easy" regarding photography.  I appreciate the compliment, but always allow myself a chuckle.  Because sometimes it is really, really easy.  The light cooperates, the subject cooperates, and all of the stars align for that perfect shoot.  But the other 99% of the time is a good mixture of creativity, patience, and of course, editing!  These pictures are from a recent shoot from a family I am great friends with.  I have photographed these kids since the oldest was a newborn and always have a good time on their shoots.  This particular shoot produced some really great shots (coming later), but also some really funny bloopers.  So (with permission), I thought I would share some of the shots that won't make it in the final album--but DO keep me cracking up and loving my job.

One smiling, one silly...

Again...

Look at the camera...

Are we finished yet?...

Is she sure we won't float away?...

Three-year-old smiles...

Again...

Pretty much done with smiling now...

Those are SO awesome! Shoot, some of them are ones that I would prob. actually want if those were my kids---because of them being themselves and silly too! Their facial expressions are priceless in these!

I think these actually show my kids and their personalities the best! :) The 2nd to the last one is a face we rarely see, but you can trace back to his 3 month pictures. I love them, the bloopers and the "real" ones.

I absolutely love these!! Of course, I am a bit biased toward the subjects ;) And the serious ones were beautifully done as well.
